Miriam trained at the Guildford School of Acting and her theatre work ranges from appearing at the Bristol Old Vic, playing the female lead opposite Ian Lavender in “The Ghost Train” to the Young Vic, London, in Ibsen’s “Playing with Fire”.Numerous roles have included Shakespeare’s Lady Macbeth, Kate Mundy in Dancing at Lughnasa for The Dukes Lancaster, Ingrid, Blavatsky’s Tower, The Tobacco Factory, Bristol, Julia Margaret Cameron the 19th century photographer for Radio 4, Mary Anning the fossil hunter from Lyme Regis and even Silvery Sally a female wizard for a Channel Islands T.I.E. tour!She is a co-director of Play on Words Theatre with whom she has written and performed her own acclaimed one-woman show SISTER QUEENS on the lives of Elizabeth 1 and Mary Queen of Scots.She facilitates Youth Theatre and Drama Summer Schools with her husband Aidan in Kent.
